FRAUD ALERT - Peoples Exchange Bank has received calls indicating that some customers are receiving text messages allegedly coming from our debit card network. These messages indicate that the customer’s debit card appears to have been used in a fraudulent manner. The message further provides a telephone number to call and a 16-digit reference number. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THESE MESSAGES ARE FRAUDULENT. FiServ, the network administrator for debit cards issued by Peoples Exchange Bank, will NEVER contact our customers by a text message. Please delete the message immediately and DO NOT respond to the telephone number provided. Should you have any questions, immediately contact the Peoples Exchange Bank branch nearest you.
